The Utility Belt

The Utility Belt explores mobility and practicality within fashion through the 3D design and print of a belt bag. The project highlights means of production and accessibility where 3D printing occupies an online community that functions on collaboration and the reuse of shared designs for replication and further innovation. On a larger scale, this project raises questions about the decentralization and localization of production as a result of additive manufacturing(3D printing).
